CSR For Wildcard Domains
When generating the CSR you must use the format *.mydomain.com. If your CSR is generated using mydomain.com it will fail validation and the certificate cannot be issued until the proper CSR is used.
Don't forget that the private key used in CSR generation also must be created using *.domain.com.
